Located in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA of Santa Barbara County, the grapesfor this wine comes from stunning hillside vineyards that climb from 500 to 1,000 feet above sea level. The soils are marine-based and the weather is consistently cool thanks to ocean breezes that sweep the property daily. The Brand Series honors the relatives of vintner Bill Foley who settled the Texas Panhandle in the 1840s as ranchers, cattlemen and Texas Rangers.

Tasting Notes

The 2023 opens with aromas of candied raspberries and red cherry. On the palate, the wine is complex with layers of blackberry, boysenberry and ribbons of elegant tannin. This wine delivers mouthwatering acidity with black pepper and dark plum on the finish.

    The 2021 Bar Lazy S Ranch Pinot Noir opens with aromas of candied strawberry rhubarb, accents of fresh cut roses, and raspberry liqueur. On the palate, elegant ceylon tea tannin, accents of black pepper, and candied cherries meld seamlessly with flavors of confectionery cherry cola on the lengthy finish. This wine is excellent with pork loin and cherry chutney reduction.
